Open Transport Installers
This folder contains two OT installers, 1.1 GM (Golden Master) and 1.1b16.
The 1.1 GM version is the same code as in System 7.5.3 and includes the OT 1.1 GM SDK. It only installs under Systems 7.1, 7.1.1, 7.1.2 and 7.5.3. Because it is the final release version, it does not contain a “debug installer”.
The 1.1b16 version is the beta preview, previously distributed via various online services. This version is a ‘universal install’ which may be useful to you because it installs over Systems 7.5, 7.5.1 and 7.5.2. It also has a “debug installer” that is useful for software development. Note that this beta is for testing purposes only and is not supported.
Viewing the Documents in this folder
Use Aldus Persuasion v3.0 to view the presentations on this folder.
Most of the documentation has been converted to Adobe Portable Document Format, which you can read using Adobe Acrobat Reader.
This folder also contains some source documents in Microsoft Word v5.1a format.
The text documents in this folder were created using SimpleText.
You will also need the fonts from the Apple Font Pack (Times, N Helvetica, Palatino, and Zeal) to view the correctly formatted versions of these documents.
